2.1 AI Chatbot

Our Website features an AI-powered chatbot (the "Chatbot") that assists with project intake. The Chatbot uses artificial intelligence to conduct a preliminary assessment of your project and generate a structured engineering brief. Important limitations:

• The Chatbot provides preliminary assessments only and does not constitute a binding quotation, proposal, or professional engineering opinion.
• Responses generated by the Chatbot are AI-assisted and may not fully capture the complexity of your project.
• Any cost estimates, timelines, or feasibility assessments provided through the Chatbot are indicative only and are not binding on Leonith.
• A formal engagement requires a separate, signed service agreement between you and Leonith.

3. User Obligations

By using the Website, you agree to the following:

• You will provide accurate and truthful information when using the contact form or Chatbot.
• You will not use the Website or Chatbot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• You will not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Website or Chatbot.
• You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls implemented on the Website.
• You will not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Website or Chatbot without our prior written consent.

When you submit information through the Chatbot or contact form ("User Content"), you retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in that content. By submitting User Content, you grant Leonith a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store such content solely for the purpose of:

• Responding to your inquiry
• Evaluating the feasibility of a potential engagement

This license does not extend to any use of your User Content for marketing, publication, or disclosure to third parties without your explicit consent, except as necessary to perform the services you have requested (e.g., sharing project requirements with our manufacturing partners under separate confidentiality obligations).

4.3 Chatbot Output

Engineering briefs and other outputs generated by the Chatbot ("Chatbot Outputs") are produced collaboratively using your input and our AI system. Chatbot Outputs are provided to you for your use in evaluating a potential engagement with Leonith. You may use Chatbot Outputs for your internal evaluation purposes. Chatbot Outputs do not constitute professional engineering deliverables and should not be relied upon as such.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and all content, services, and functionality provided through the Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Leonith disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, including Chatbot Outputs
• Warranties that the Website will meet your specific requirements

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leonith Mechanics & Consulting, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from reliance on Chatbot Outputs or any Website Content
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages arising from any interruption or cessation of Website services

In no event shall our total liability for all claims arising from or relating to your use of the Website exceed the amount you have paid to Leonith in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leonith Mechanics & Consulting, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Website or Chatbot
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any content you submit through the Website that infringes on the rights of a third party

8. Third-Party Services

The Website relies on third-party services for its operation, including but not limited to Anthropic (AI processing), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Upstash (infrastructure services). We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party services.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by third parties.

9. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree with the modified Terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Website.

10. Termination
